Synergy Percussion: More Than an Indoor Ensemble—A Pathway to Success
 

Synergy Percussion is more than just an indoor percussion group—it’s a comprehensive educational program designed to expose students to opportunities and experiences that go far beyond the competitive indoor world. We aim to provide students with access to education on all levels, from participating in our ensemble to engaging with some of the most prestigious events in the marching and percussion communities, such as PASIC, TMEA, and DCI.
 

At Synergy, we believe in the power of knowledge-sharing. Our program includes a series of educational clinics that not only help students hone their musical skills but also give them the chance to teach and mentor others. This unique experience prepares students to excel as performers, educators, and leaders, equipping them with valuable tools that will serve them both in music and in their everyday lives. Through this program, our members don’t just learn—they also learn how to teach, building confidence and leadership that they can carry with them long after they leave the stage.
 

We are committed to providing students with the resources and experiences they need to grow as musicians, educators, and individuals. Synergy’s focus extends to developing students into percussion techs who will serve local music programs across the Rio Grande Valley and beyond. By fostering this skill set, we create a network of knowledgeable individuals who can contribute to the success of their own schools and communities, giving back in meaningful ways.
