At Synergy Indoor, we inspire and nurture the next generation of percussionists through world-class instruction and dynamic performances. Our program is designed for musicians of all levels. Join us and be part of a community where passion for the marching arts meets excellence in education.
Our Mission
Synergy Percussion is a dedicated youth arts organization with a mission to provide high-quality performance, education, and personal development opportunities, particularly for students from low-income, first-generation backgrounds in the Rio Grande Valley. We strive to create inclusive and transformative experiences through competitive indoor percussion ensembles, educational clinics, and community outreach programs designed to inspire and empower young musicians.
Our organization actively participates in regional events with the Texas Color Guard Circuit (TCGC) and competes nationally with Winter Guard International (WGI), fostering a culture of excellence and artistic growth. At Synergy, we are committed to not only preparing our students for competitive success but also equipping them with the skills, confidence, and resources necessary to thrive in their academic, professional, and personal lives.

Synergy has helped me grow more than I could have ever expected. Even though we’re still early in the season and this is my first year, I already feel a strong connection with my teammates and the organization as a whole. Getting to represent the RGV at this level is something I’ve always dreamed of; I’ve always believed there’s a lot of hidden talent here in the valley, and Synergy gives students like us a real chance to show it.
Coming from a school with no marching band or indoor program, earning a spot in Synergy’s marimba line means a lot to me. It’s pushed me forward and motivated me as I work toward becoming a music educator. I’m incredibly grateful for the staff and the friends I’ve made here, and I can’t wait to help show the world what the Rio Grande Valley can do."
