Our Mission
Synergy Percussion is a dedicated youth arts organization with a mission to provide high-quality performance, education, and personal development opportunities, particularly for students from low-income, first-generation backgrounds in the Rio Grande Valley. We strive to create inclusive and transformative experiences through competitive indoor percussion ensembles, educational clinics, and community outreach programs designed to inspire and empower young musicians.
Our organization actively participates in regional events with the Texas Color Guard Circuit (TCGC) and competes nationally with Winter Guard International (WGI), fostering a culture of excellence and artistic growth. At Synergy, we are committed to not only preparing our students for competitive success but also equipping them with the skills, confidence, and resources necessary to thrive in their academic, professional, and personal lives.

The Synergy Education Camp is our flagship educational event, bringing together students, educators, families, clinicians, and community partners from across South Texas for a day of learning, leadership, and inspiration.
Designed for performers of all experience levels, the camp provides world-class instruction, leadership development, wellness education, and hands-on learning in an environment that encourages growth, confidence, and community.

Feed The Dragons
Feed the Dragons is Synergy's year-round nutrition initiative, providing meals, snacks, hydration, and wellness support to students throughout rehearsals, educational camps, performances, competitions, and community events.
Many of the students we serve travel long hours, attend rehearsals after school, or face financial barriers that make consistent access to nutritious meals difficult. Feed the Dragons helps ensure every student has the fuel they need to learn, grow, and perform at their best—because no student should have to choose between participating and having something to eat.
Every donation directly provides healthy meals, snacks, hydration, and essential nutrition for our students throughout the year. Whether you choose to sponsor a snack, provide a meal, or help keep our hydration stations stocked, your generosity fuels every rehearsal, every performance, and every opportunity our students receive.

Synergy has helped me grow more than I could have ever expected. Even though we’re still early in the season and this is my first year, I already feel a strong connection with my teammates and the organization as a whole. Getting to represent the RGV at this level is something I’ve always dreamed of; I’ve always believed there’s a lot of hidden talent here in the valley, and Synergy gives students like us a real chance to show it.
